Lately, he has all sorts of added ear-expressions to go with his facial expressions. Digit! As always, the new little fluff is keeping me busy. (I still have almost 75 un-replied comments, though. I only got one post up, but I did manage to catch up a little bit on replying to comments and commenting back. Has anyone been listening using the new NetGalley Shelf app yet? I’m about to try it, and I’m hoping it works as well as Hoopla, Libby and Audible do. I got auto-approved for Macmillan Audio on NetGalley, so I’m looking forward to listening to their audiobooks. I’m listening to Divided We Fall via audiobook. I finished reading The Elephant’s Girl and also read Secrets of Storytelling: A Creative Writing Workbook for Kids. Here’s a pic of that one and the butterfly: My daughter painted a couple more masks. She did a logo for a friend of mine (her first paid mask!) and a butterfly for my mom, and she finished the anime one for Jade (apparently these characters are called Filo and Raphtalia from Rising of the Shield Hero). We bought a new (used) dining table and chairs. We got a beautiful cherry dining room set, but the top has some scratches that we’ll need to fix, so we’ve been experimenting with one of the leaves to figure out the best way to do it. My daughter Danielle and I finished season three of The 100 last night.
